Payroll & Calculator Disclaimer
All Precision Payroll calculations are estimates based on your inputs. This disclaimer explains the limitations of each calculator.

1. General Disclaimer
All results produced by Precision Payroll calculators are estimates based on:
- The values and settings you provide as inputs
- Assumptions configured within each calculator
- The calculation-engine version active at the time of calculation
- Statutory parameters and rates incorporated into the engine at that time
Results should be independently reviewed and verified before use in payroll processing, statutory filings, employee communications or any official context. Precision Payroll does not guarantee that any result is accurate, complete, current or suitable for any specific purpose.
Precision Payroll is not a legal, tax, accounting, financial, employment or payroll compliance advisory service. See our Terms of Use for the full no-advice statement.
2. Salary Calculators
Salary calculators (CTC to in-hand, increment/hike, daily/hourly rate) estimate gross and net pay based on your inputs. Actual amounts may differ because of:
- Your employer's salary structure and component definitions
- Applicable income-tax slab, regime choice and individual deductions/exemptions
- Professional Tax state slab (varies by state and may change)
- Variable pay, bonuses, arrears and one-time payments
- Payroll-cycle timing (mid-month joins, LOP, advance payments)
- Employer policy and employment contract terms
The Indian Salary Hike Calculator and Salary to Daily/Hourly Calculator do not save results. All computation is performed in your browser.
3. Overtime Calculator
Overtime pay estimates depend on the salary basis, working-day/hour assumptions and multiplier you configure. Actual overtime eligibility and applicable rate are determined by:
- Your employment contract and employer policy
- Applicable provisions of the Factories Act, 1948 or Code on Wages, 2019/state rules
- Industry/establishment type and any applicable exemptions
- Whether the employee is covered by a specific statute's overtime provisions
Precision Payroll does not determine overtime eligibility. The result is an arithmetic estimate given the inputs you provide.
4. PF & Pension Calculator
PF and pension results are estimates based on configured statutory rates, wage ceiling and projection assumptions. They are not a statement from EPFO or any government body.
- The projected corpus is an illustrative compound-growth estimate — not a guaranteed EPFO balance
- Actual EPFO balances depend on official credited interest rates announced annually
- Statutory rates, wage ceiling, EPS cap and contribution bases may change
- Employer and employee eligibility, exemptions and voluntary contributions may differ
For your official EPFO balance and statement, use the EPFO member portal.
5. Working Days & Indian Holidays
The Working Days calculator uses a built-in holiday reference. Actual working days may differ because:
- State/UT public holiday notifications can change from year to year
- Optional/restricted holidays vary by employer and establishment
- Company-specific calendars, declared holidays and weekly-off patterns may differ
- The calculator's holiday list may not reflect the latest state notifications
Verify the applicable holiday calendar with your state government and employer.
6. Notice Period / Last Working Day
The Notice Period / LWD calculator produces an estimated scenario based on the resignation date, notice duration and configuration you enter. It does not constitute a formal determination of your last working day.
- The actual LWD is subject to your employment contract, employer acceptance and applicable law
- Notice buyout, waiver, garden leave and early release arrangements may apply
- A saved LWD calculation does not automatically update employee master data — it is a scenario record only
- State rules and applicable Labour Code provisions may affect notice obligations
7. FnF Settlement Calculator
The Full and Final Settlement calculator estimates leave encashment, gratuity provision and settlement amounts based on salary, tenure and configuration. The actual settlement may differ because of:
- Leave balance verification and HR records at time of exit
- Gratuity eligibility (typically requires 5 years continuous service)
- Tax treatment of each settlement component
- Recovery of salary advance, notice period shortfall or other employer claims
- Employer policy, HR approval and payroll-processing timing
- State-specific rules and any applicable judicial or administrative guidance
A saved FnF calculation is a draft scenario record. Saving a draft does not constitute finalization of the settlement or termination of employment.
8. Generated Documents
Salary slips, overtime reports, PF reports and FnF summaries generated by Precision Payroll are produced from the inputs and assumptions you configure. Before distributing or using a generated document for any official purpose:
- Verify all figures against your payroll records
- Ensure the document format and content meet the requirements of the recipient
- Obtain appropriate organizational authorization where required
- Note that generated documents are not certified by any government authority
